That is a lovely pattern. I love the bell sleeves.

Do a search for errata for that pattern (and all others in that book). I know that there are some changes. I've also heard that the neckline is REALLY wide and some people have altered it.

Something to be aware of, I don't want you to have to rip AGAIN!

I, too, admired the same sweater when glancing through the L.M.G. book and thought it would be flattering and timeless. Can hardly wait to see the finished project (which will not be a quick knit w/all the frogging you are doing to re-use the cashmere - such ambition!

Oh yeah! Such an Alison sweater! Perfect for you!

Thanks, Johanna. The knitalong gals have been working on this sweater for months, so there's lots of helpful info over on their knitalong page about the corrections, the yarn amounts (might be too low), and neckline adjustments. Sometimes it really pays to join a knitalong late! ;0)

Ditto what Johanna said about LMKG. To paraphrase Lisa B., it's last minute in more ways than one.

Looking forward to seeing your results. I have some Cash Iroha that thinks it might want to grow up and be that sweater someday!

Very cool... I've posted some pictures of my fix-it progress too... I'm afraid I'm heading down the road toward another fix :(

Hourglass is going to look great in that yarn and color!

I saw that pattern on little miss messy hair's blog and loved it! Can't wait for more of your progress so I can see the FO.

ooh! I was just contemplating this sweater yesterday.. very pretty! I think the photo of the sweater/model/setting in this book is so pretty. Makes me long for sunny summer days.

I have had my eyes on this sweater too... yet, I have not picked up the book. The cashmere sounds so lush!

Have a great weekend!

Great sweater! It's going to be so nice to wear in cashmere!

It's a great pattern. I really enjoyed knitting mine, but the neckline is quite wide. However, it's easy enough to add a few extra rows. It should be lovely in the cashmere.
