I knew it was going to be lots of fun! Everybody was talking about it last weekend. So sorry I missed it.... Thanks for sharing.

It's like a veritable Who's Who of northeast bloggers! I had so much fun at the Denver sew-up that I wished for power over time and space so I could go...

What fun! The finished aghan looks great! Love the turqoise squares, really brings it all together.

I looks great! I think we need to do something like this in the Northwest too.

Didn't we have fun. Thank you so much for coming and being part of a terrific day. I'm exhausted and happy, and now I get to put the edges on those beauties. The red and purple one looks so nice on my kitchen couch. . .

Aw, Alison! Fantastic reportage! Totally dismayed to have missed this gathering. It looks like you actually sewed up stuff, too, which is even better. So wish I could have been there. Thanks for your virtual postcard.

What a fabby day. Great turnout, beautiful location, wonderful treats (edible and knittable), a collectible party favor.....Tang and Saltines (which remained unopened Ann--lest you think the northeastern elites are a buncha snobs, it was just because we had plenty of other comestibles). A bloggy convention. I had a blast. Joseph had a blast for the last hour.

To avoid getting superfakeynice hate mail from Tennessee---that gorgeous green afghan was put together in Nashville in October, but yesterday the group put those rilly long borders on it so it looks even nicer than before. (There is no task too tedious that I will not farm it out to those who are willing.)

Love the eyebrows over the afghan.

Thanks everybody especially Julia! love, Kay

Yes, finding your strip in the finished product is very cool but not quite as cool as finding your square *PROMINENTLY* featured on one of your favorite blogs!!!!!(and sewn by one of your favorite knitters/bloggers too!!)

Yes, I am the fabricator of the teal lace and ecru double seed stitch square!! I feel so special, thanks Alison!! :)

How cool, Debi! I picked that strip to seam because I liked that square so much.

Hi Kay! It WAS a blast. (Loooved Joseph!) And even though we didn't do much finishing work on that last blanket, that picture was my favorite from the day. It just reminds me of how much fun we all had!

Hi Ann! Thanks to you and Kay for inspiring everyone to make such wonderful things for such a good cause. And for giving us such a good reason to have a little weekend knitting retreat. You may have to come up here yet to get that red/purple blanket off of Julia's couch though! Hee, hee. ;0)

I love that picture of Julia's eyes! What a great shot. I had a fabulous time and what great company! I left with a warm fuzzy knowing that I would run into you all again. Knitters rock! ;)

I'll race you to the toe of the Retro Sock!

I had such a great time too!! Can't wait to see you at knitsmiths this week. I'm going to try to bring a few of the tuesday night group with me!!

thanks for sharing the pictures you took! The finished socks look great, and I'm excited to see how pop turns out. I hope to venture south to knit with the knitsmiths sometime this summer; seeing what is possible when a group of people all knit together has me wanting to do it again!
