Fun prizes! I just made a scarf with some gift Fiori myself. Sure wish any of my LYSes were a bit more kid friendly ~

So much yarn! I love your prize, so pink. You've definitely got those boys trained, I'll have to remember than when I have kids. Hope tomorrow can live up to this :)

Oh Alison

You do have those boys trained well. How WONDERFUL, their suggestion no less.

Is it getting any warmer by you? Park knitting soon???

Sounds like the perfect day, even with rain! Good to know about Elann's Merino Stretch, as I have an old Jaeger pattern as well calling for Wool Stretch. Looking forward to seeing that knit up!

I love Skacel Fiori. I made a baby sweater with it carried along with lambs pride bulky to create flowery stripes. I got the pattern from a shop in my old city (Madison WI) The owner wrote the pattern and is also the author of a few books (Melissa Mathay)
And speaking of Madison, WI...Blackberry Ridge is just outside of Madison in Mt Horeb and I've been to their mill/shop. Lovely lovely fluff!

I'm taking notes so that I'll know how to train my own (far in the future) kids!

OK, FINE, I'll make the DAMN t-shirt! Quit twisting my arm already!

[jenny looks innocently away as the yarn has been ordered and whistles lest Alison know she has created her design already too...]

I bought the same shade of calmer for making your "nothing but a t-shirts" pattern's pullover! But I intended to make uni-color version. Looking that wine-color ball as a contrast color, I am now thinking to get the same one for me too....anyway I love your pattern and AGAIN I will knit it soon!

I saw you at Circles on Wednesday - I was there with my very own little blond boy, who enjoyed the company of your two. When I saw you walk out with the Blackberry Ridge yarn I just knew you were planning on another pair of socks.

Would that be "the yarn store with trains"? or the "Train store with yarn?" Yeah, I guess I need to refresh thw boy's memory about that one. After sheep season, I'll take him there again. He loved it last time. Come to think of it, don't you think the Construction Zone needs a yarn annex for us mommies?

I just visited The Knitting Zone for the first time this Saturday. Mary and the rest of the staff are so nice, and the sale prices were great! Her store is located in a building off of her driveway- she lives back in the woods- so my daughter had fun watching her goats, chickens, and dogs while I shopped. If you ever make it this far south, be sure to stop by and check them out in person.
