I think the Harlot will be single handedly connecting the blog world for many a year to come! So glad you had such a good time.

PS - My most prized signed possession (I have quite a few) is a signed first edition of So Long, See You Tomorrow by William Maxwell.

Yeah, but your book isn't signed by Cher like mine is.

;-)

Great to see you! We even made it out of JP -- challenging, that.

Majorly envious. Wanted to be there. Couldn't. Thank you for an excellent report.

Looks like fun! The Yarn Harlot is heading towards my part of the world in August and I may just have to drop by.

Oooh, Cara, good book!

Beth, I think that I've just realized I'm not an autograph kinda person. I've seen lots more "famous" people, including Kaffe Fassett, before but have always felt silly about the whole autograph thing. So what's he doing at the MFA?

Alison, just letting you know there's another NBaT finished over here. Thanks for a wonderful pattern!

Glad you had a great time at the harlot! I live about 10 minutes from there and totally should have gone except for the fact that I had other plans.. Now I am sad seeing all the fun people had! Thanks for the pictures!

Last Friday, Jane Fonda came to our local bookshop just blocks from my house and I decided at the last minute to go to her booksigning. Well, I was #312 (out of 619) and not only did I get a chance to have a four sentence conversation w/Jane, I also made it onto the 10:00 Chgo news!

Hey Alison, Kaffe and I will sign anything anytime. Just bring that magic marker over here!
