comments: how I went to the knit-out and didn't knit a stitch

Hey Miss,

You're boys are ADORABLE with a capital "A!"

:-)

You have a knit out! I'm jelous, nothing ever happens in my end of the woods. Sounds like it could be a fun day, with a babysitter maybe? Oh well, at least they like the spinning wheel.....

Personally I think that the boys made the Knit Out ten times MORE enjoyable! You can knit at any time, a beautiful October day at the park is a bit more precious!

It was a beautiful day wasn't it?! I can't blame the boys at all for wanting to spend it on the playground.

Hi again to all those I met: pals Paula and Kathy, fellow knitsmiths Johanna and Lisa, new knitbuds Jessica, Maya, Femiknit Mafia, and Katie, and the two girls who are making nbat's (who are you?)!

Hey Alison! I just realized that the woman with the two adorable little boys talking to the spinner was you! I was standing right there next to you guys while the woman explained the spinning process to the boys. Doh!

Nice to meet you too. Cutie-patootie boys! I didn't knit a stitch either. Little Man skipped his nap and kept me running around the Common.

It was good to see you, and the boys! I understand getting dragged around =)

But what a great day to do it!

I'm interested to know if you see the resemblance.

Who wouldn't want one of those pretzels, I ask you? :-) Wow, those looked REALLY big... though maybe just because they were being held by little hands?

Hey Amber, you were there too, right! I wish all we Knitsmiths had managed to get ourselves organized and sit and knit a bit all together. There were lots of us there, but I only caught brief glimpses of so many of you. :( Hope to see you all at the swap this month!

Great meeting you too, Alison. I am determined to make it to Knitsmiths one of these days--especially since you meet literealy around the corner from my house. Perhaps this upcoming Sunday...

Hey--you may not have done any knitting, but you were surround by all that great knitting karma.

Same thing happened to me last year at the NYC Knit-Out.

I'm amazed you were able to remember any of our names (my kids stayed at home with dad)! The funny thing is, I recognized your boys first before you - they are even cuter in person. Glad they let you enjoy some of the KnitOut.

Looks like so much fun. I don't have anything like that in this little city either. The shawl is looking yummy!!
