wash & wear

Not all too much to report from the blueroom here. I'm washing and straightening the yarn from Elizabeth I. Take a peek at the yarn drying on hangers over the tub. And I'm finishing the little tiger hat. I tried it on the boys for a quick size check. Here's a dark, but still cute picture.

It's so cute! I need to get my hands on that tiger hat pattern. I'd love to knit it for my own two year old to wear this Halloween. Great idea!

Hi Becky. The patterns in the Double Knits book really are adorable. In the two sets that I've made though I have found a couple of errors (fairly easy to recognize as typos and omissions). In case you do decide to make the tiger hat, for the decreasing on the ears, I'm pretty sure that she meant to have it say decrease on alternate rows. Otherwise the ears aren't pointy.

I'll be posting a finished picture soon!
