I recieved another wonderful Phildar baby catalog from another wonderful fellow-knitter in France. Thanks, Becky! I now have enough Phildar projects picked out for the boys for all of next year (including these). Am I a sucker for animal designs, or what?

Those sweater patterns are sooo cute! I am new to knitting and was wondering if you knew of a way that I could purchase a copy of that pattern book. I went to the website, but I unfortunately don't speak any french. I would really appreciate it if you could just let me know. Thanks again, Christina

Yay! Your catalog made it to you, and I'm so glad that you like it. Aren't the designs wonderful? I always have a hard time deciding what I'd like to knit first, as I immediately want to knit all the patterns in those catalogs.

Christina, the Phildar catalogs really are great, but getting your hands on them is a problem. It seems that you can use a credit card to order the most recent catalogs from Phildar directly (magazines are in French). Or if you know Dutch, you can go to Breiweb and get a Dutch version. They take credit cards and ship outside of the Netherlands. I haven't found an online source for the english versions (maybe in Canada?).
