summer of lovely
Tank girl wants more tanks. Please help her decide from this list of lovelies....
Very cherry
From the latest Knitty. My top pick so far.
Sweetness
Another great pattern from this season's Knitty. I'd make it with short sleeves of course.
Pagan from Rowan #27. The only one on the list actually designed for all season's cotton, so no need to do any pattern modification here. I'd probably add some stripes to make it more interesting.
More stripes! I've wanted to make this striped sweater from Rebecca #17 for a long time. Not sure if I'd have enough or the right colors to make the stripes look as pretty as in the picture, though.
After seeing Carolyn's new halter, I've been thinking about something similar. Strech marks prevent me from doing the exposed navel thing, but this little top from Rebecca # 24 seems like a good compromise.
Maggie from Rowan #31. I love this top! Lengthening it should be no problem, but would it work in the all season's cotton?
Shells also from Rowan #31. Simple, but classy. And I can see it working well in the all season's cotton.
I think this racerback tank from Interweave Knits Fall 2002 is totally cool. I had been considering it for some cotton glace odds and ends though.
Ha, ha!

Those are some great options--I vote for Pagan. The rebecca pattern is a close second. Good luck choosing!
I vote for Pagan, too -- a truly sleeveless one this time around. Did you ever decide about making another pink/white tank with the colors reversed?
Ooh, how do you decide?!?! I vote for the Rebecca stripe or Pagan (although I don't like the name). I can't wait to see the finished project!!
I like Maggie!!! But it wouldn't fly on me.
I like your pick of the v-neck Pagan. I did not have enough yarn (E-Bay purchase) so I had to go with one of the other two necklines that called for one less ball of cotton. Neat pattern to give 3 options. After my current tank and my vacation tank, Hello Kitty Pagan is next. Thanks for visiting me. A new cat photo is up.
They're all lovely. But I can really see Very Cherry or the Racerback on you.
i like the pagan and the stripey rebecca. but for some reason i am drawn to that final rebecca shown in the white with the tie at neck. it looks all breezy and cool. :)
p.s. my not-caused-by-child-bearing-but-rather-just-by-"growing"-i-guess stretch marks are all over my hips & thighs. so none on my tummy but they're all on display in swimsuits.
Thanks for the feedback, ladies! I'm really overwhelmed with the choices and can't decide which to make next.
Carolyn, I have the same thing going on with the last top (from the latest Rebecca, by the way). I included it because I am really drawn to it, but I know that it would look awful on me. Maybe it would work if I could pick up the C cup bust at my LYS! ;)
I agree.. Pagen is pretty for the summer. Looks soft.
my favorite is the one from Rebecca #17 with all the pretty stripes - it just looks sooooo summery and sunshiny. have fun picking!
i vote for Pagan too. How about a Pagan Knitalong??
I like Pagan as well.
Honey, does your hubby know you are putting soft girly porn on the web??? :-p I didn't think so. Shame, & exposing it to the boys at *such* an early age, cos I bet they helped their mummy put the pics on the blog site. hehe
I vote for Maggie or for the REbecca striped one!
Pagan or Maggie, hands DOWN.
I vote for the stripey Rebecca sweater... It is very cute! I like Pagan, too, but the stipey one is much more fun.
I'm casting on for the racerback tank sometime next week. :-) So I won't really knit-a-long with ya - but I'll sorta kinda knit-a-long. :-) I'd do Pagan with ya but I don't have that issue of Rowan. Nice top though!
