stops and starts

With the heat and all, I've only been knitting small amounts in stops and starts. I stopped work midway through the front of the sweet heart sweater, but did manage to sew together the other pieces. I tried starting tank girl six about six times, but couldn't get the gauge right. I can't help wanting to knit the Cotton-Ease at a tighter gauge than the all seasons cotton. Now that the temperature will be getting back to normal, I hope to make some real progress on it. Although I still haven't decided exactly what it will look like. Since I have yet to make it past row three, it hasn't really come up yet!

Wow, I wish I was as unproductive as you! Been wearing Smooch today (what is it? 90?) and I don't find it hot at all. Been receiving lots of compliments on it and -- news flash -- found a bra in the EXACT same color as Ravish. Very exciting. *teehee* Now I really want to Smooch in Bubblegum. Thanks, Gina. :)

i know what you're talking about. total lethargy the moment i step into my overheated apartment, and it takes at least three hours for the air conditioning to make much of a difference!!

If you're looking for a new tank pattern - check out Bonne Marie's new Chickami. Very cute shaping. It's DK weight so you'll probably need something other than your beloved ASC/Cotton-Ease, but I'm sure you can come up with something from stash.
