look ma, I'm knitting

I'm making progress on your native sweater. I'm up to the armholes on the front. Getting excited?!

(For those of you who are not my mother, check out the latest finished knit-along projects: Maggi's Smooch, Jackie's Chickami, and Inga's Smooch. Way to go, girls!)

That looks great Alison! The transition from color to color is so smooth.

I'm SOOOOOO excited. Actually makes me look forward to a birthday !!

You are cruisin'. It looks great. Do you have to keep row counts for each section?

I may not be your mother but I love Native. Those little blocks of colour look so organised and uniform don't they?

What are you going to give yourself as a treat when this is done, you know you deserve one!

Love that Native. I'm rather timid of colorwork myself (although I'm considering a striped Chickami with the leftovers from Caroline's jumpsuit). Thanks for the nod!

That is sooo pretty. You do such beautiful work

Wow! Look at all that progress! How are the ends?

I wish I was making similar progress on my afghan. Sadly, the move seems to have stalled my knitting.

Thanks everyone. I'm very proud of how I've progressed. I haven't woven in the ends beyond the first few inches yet. I do have to keep the row counter going the whole time just in case I lose my mind and can't find my place in the chart anymore. I'm getting excited about finishing this. One reason is that I can tell that there will be several extra balls, which very may well become a stripey ChicKami someday (great minds think alike, Maggi!).
