scarf-a-licious
Can't let the finishing fiesta peter out, so here's a reason to celebrate: another finished scarf for my scarf project.

I'm using five skeins of Lamb's Pride superwash bulky in five girly colors to make three (I hope!) scarves. The first is the simple color block scarf above. Next up are a couple of sideways garter stitch scarves. I'm enjoying working at this gauge (3 st./in.) and the yarn is quite nice, although the white is a bit thinner than the other colors. I am totally digging the fringe, though. I love attaching it. I love how it looks. What a difference a few pieces of yarn (intentionally) hanging off the end can make!

I love scarves! That one looks so stripy and cool. Can't wait to see the other ones..
WOW! You crank those out so quickly. And they're so pretty, too! Keep 'em comin' :-)
alison--
i love your love affair with colour! this may be a bit late in coming, but i love the stripey sweater that was a modification of a pattern from " a seasons tale" and the jo sharp sweater from "holiday island." i need to know this though, have you started the stripey phildar sweater? it is just gorgeous and i am thinking i might need to have this sweater in my collection as well.
As opposed to those "Oops, what's this?" pieces of yarn that I occasionally find randomly hanging from my sweater? Yeah, found one of those hanging in the sleeve of my SitCom Chic the other day. Can't imagine how I missed weaving that one in! Don't ya hate that?
Speaking of fringe, Alison, I'll be posting a pic of the piccolo poncho tomorrow -- it has bicolor fringe. So you can paint me brown then. Got power back yesterday afternoon, and I just posted the Isabel shots. Nice scarf, too!
i love the colors of this scarf.
i had similar feelings this past week putting tassels on top of some hats, the tassels made a big happy difference in the outcome.
