aww. they should so make this in adult size... I'd wear it!
Wow! It looks great -- the two boys in their matching giranimals are adorable. :)
What a fantastic jacket ! What a fantastic PAIR of jackets !
The boys look great, and the fit is now perfect[haven't they grown ?!].
Lovely.
I have to say, those just might be the most adorable sweaters I've ever seen. Maybe it's the adorable models, but the sweaters seem to match the boys perfectly.
Fantastic! My head is spinning with all of the finishing you have been doing.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I bet you want to make them wear them all the time don't you? You should be very proud of them... (boys and jackets)
Awww, so cute! I don't know what to admire more, the great work on the sweaters, or those fabulous curls!
The cuttest thing. It's in the blue blog. Twice! I want a giraffe jacket too... I could be Kim's twin!!! ;)
What a pair of cherubs you have there!
P.S. I keep asking this 'comment' box to remember my personal info, but it's not co-operating...(sigh)
Awwww!!! They (the coats and the boys) are adorable! I'm getting a little worried that this coat is not going to fit my Luca. I might have to do some of my own resizing. Yikes!
you've got some professional little knitwear models there--cute cute!
great jackets Alison!
Grrrrr-eat Giranimals! Pat yourself on that back, don't strain the arm, you need that for knitting!
Awww. Together at last......My daily quota for cute has been fulfilled.
totally sappy -- but oh so cute!!! :) such little blonde boys. they are going to be some trouble with the girls when they grow up!!!!
Cute, cute, cute, cute......
Did I mention they are cute?!? ;-)
What adorable sweaters/boys!!!! You must have so much fun knitting for them :) I have twin girls who turned 6 on friday. As a new knitter I haven't made them more than scarves and hats. Envious I didn't have your skills when they were smaller!! Enjoy your blog, thanks.
Awww... Alison how old are the boys? Love the sweaters! Doncha just love it when they wipe their runny nose on a brand new hand knit? Ugh. With two little ones of my own, beleive me, I'm getting used to it!
I've been waiting for these pictures eagerly, and they don't disappoint. Can I just shout in your comments box:
"I LOVE THESE MATCHING JACKETS!"
The boys are adorable in them. Definitely easy to show off such fabulous, professional-looking knits when you have those cute curly-haired boys to model them so well.
Kim, you're absolutely right - it would be a great adult pattern. Don't know that I'd definitely keep the giraffe, but that big pocket, oh yeah!
Sharlyn, I think I made the jackets a few centimeters longer than the 2-yr. size (which is how old my boys are now). I'm thinking now that the sleeves could have been lengthened even more. The pattern shouldn't be too hard to make to fit though. Best of luck with it.
Becky, we're bringing the jackets to Germany, so I'm hoping we'll get some more giranimals pics. You haven't seen the last of them!
Marg, are you sure you've got cookies enabled on the browser you're using and you're clicking on "Remember me - yes"? It is making cookies still. I just checked from a new computer and it remembered me.
Comments box, try harder to remember Marg. We like her. She gave us the awesome peanut butter cookie recipe. It's only fair that we make some cookies for her in return. ;)
Well, we know where the boys get the little curls on top of their foreheads from . . . ;) I love the "matching but not exactly matching" set. The colors are great!
