With mya now all done, I declare the finishing fiesta officially on. I'm gonna try in the next few weeks to seam my way through the current projects. First up is Banff. She is now all knit and sewn up.
Oh yeah, there's still the collar to do. And the only yarn I have left is the little handful lying next to it. Will it be enough? Let me give you a hint - no. But I'm charging ahead anyway.

alison, that looks great! so, maybe it could have a little neck, then. who cares? it's gorgeous!
You could just do a little collar. I was contemplating doing just a ribbed collar of just a few rows!! But ended up doing more than that. It looks fantastic. I can't wait to see it on yoU!!! And way to go on the finishing festival. I am jealous!! I need to actually finish something first *hehe*
I think a short neck will be fine. Looks great!
I love it! I wasn't too sure about Banff, because I always seem to see it in these dark colors (probably a digicam thing) but in azure, it's explosivo!
I really love your Banff, beautiful colour. I wish I had made it now. The weather is already warming up here though, and I have Rogue to knit (which now probably won't get worn til next year). But Banff might just be my first sweater for NEXT winter!
Banff is looking great!
I'm trying to get ready for the finishing fiesta. I've been knitting my sister's poncho like mad while recovering from the stomach flu and I've only got 20 more rows to go until I reach neck shaping. Looks like I'm gonna make it :-) Arriba, arriba!
Banff is looking good. I seamed mine up this morning and this afternoon I plan to weave in all the ends and pick up for the neck. It should be done by the latest tomorrow night (I have to work 6 1/2 hours retail tomorrow morning) depending on how distracted I get by the Must Have sweater which I am enjoying and can't wait to get back to.
Just make the little collar and see if you like it. It's just beautiful, will look great on you.
My Banff is done. My blog doesn't have pictures but I will try to see if I can get one in the photo gallery of my webpage and link to it from my blog. I did manage to get one picture (I had taken 3) uploaded to the computer before the batteries in the camera and/or the camera itself died so that one will have to do.
I ended up just doing a 2 by 2 rib neckline for about 1 to 2 inches and that was it.
Very cool, thanks for hosting the banff-along Alison!!
I just love you because you inspire me. Among other things :) I mean, there is that Rowan love that goes on between us.....
Banff and Mya look fab!!!
