well, my dear! Chickie and sweaties are looking great! And you've managed to tease us with another fine looking yellowish knitted object. I'll be looking!
As you can see, I did not make it to windsor button yesterday. Would have been fun though. Danged workday! Gets in the way of my fun!!!
:)

Ya big TEASE *growling wondering what she could tease you about*

I am curious (yellow). SO looking forward to MagKnits, now one more reason to be counting down the hours!

The shrug pattern is from Mad As A Hatter Studio, http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/madartmuse/pagefourteen.htm, about halfway down the page, designer is Kim De Nunzio. I found her page by accident, & fell in love with more than a few of her patterns. Enjoy!

and thanks for your info!

So don't you love MagKnits! I think Tricot is so fabuloso! I've been trying to email you in response to your comment but apparently your computer and mine aren't speaking.

You are such a talented designer! (Definitely not a surprise to me, though.) Awesome work, my friend :-)

Love the pattern. I had been guessing that you would you would have done a tank being "Tank Girl" but I was so wrong.

Great job on the cute soccer-mom sweater! Having 3 boys playing soccer this season, I'm kinda partial to all things soccer, and this pattern is wonderful!

Your MagKnits sweater is beautiful! What a great design.

Bend It Like Alison! Cute sweater, Lady A.

Just saw the sweater on magknits, and I love it. You look so cute in it. Great job.

Posted by: Teresa at February 29, 2004 2:04 PM

Love the sweater! That is definitely at the top of my list of things to knit!

Posted by: Mariko at February 29, 2004 5:53 PM

What a great sporty sweater! The yellow is unexpected. :) You know you'll find yourself hosting a Tricot-Along, don't you? Congrats, Alison.

Ooohhhhh - great idea! A Tricot-Along! And Cotton-Ease is my favorite yarn 'cause it washes like a dream! I love Tricot - Congrats!

I love your Magknits sweater! And I bought lots of Cotton-Ease last summer when I figured it was a good sub for ASC ~ so I'm ready for a knit-along too. Congrats on a great design.

I love Tricot! I will definately be making it soon and I plan to wear it to all of my eight year old's soccer matches in the Fall!!

Very fun design!

Hey, I love the sweater! I can definitely see myself knitting that in older kids' Lacrosse team colors. Except that I look awful in black and red.
Hm. Maybe a nice sage. And white.
Huge congrats to you on a published design. What an accomplishment for so recently taken up knitting. I am impressed.

Thanks everyone! It's so nice to get such a wonderful response to my first design. It would be so much fun to watch a few of you knit tricots. (PS- There was a schematic for the sweater. It hasn't made its way to the Magknits page yet, but you can check it out on my tricot pattern page.)

Happy Magknitting to all of you!

Posted by: alison at March 2, 2004 9:52 AM

Ooo, I likes it! Congratulations!! :O)

tricot is my favorite pattern from the first magknits, thanks! i have some cotton-ease pinks screaming (or is that screaming pinks?) to be knit together...

saw the comment at the bottom of the tricot page...i for one would love an upsized version of the pattern. the design would work well for larger sizes, and i think there'd be decent demand for it.
