With little pink flowsies all in a row. I spiked the knitting needles with a little miracle grow and I'm almost done with the back of Daisy. It'll need a severe blocking when it's done though. If the piece isn't stretched across the sofa arm it looks more like a wadded up washcloth than a sweater back!
Hey, speaking of washcloths, I finished the first sugar 'n cream log cabin washcloth! It's so cool.

Your Daisy top is taking root very nicely. I can't wait to see it after it has been 'watered and blocked'. Okay, my lame attempt at humor. I have yarn set aside also to try out log cabin. Good job!
Those flowsies look absolutely gorgeous! I love the lilac colour.
Your log cabin is so square! Mine are very trapezoidal when I finish them...but practice makes perfect.
Love the flowsies!
The colors on your log cabin washcloth are wonderful! I love how they go togeher... and the beautiful squareness - makes me want to run out and make one....
Wowza! Lots of flowsies! So cute! Not crazy at all, like some daisy we know!
Your boys can be scrubbed clean in style now!! Oh, they'll love that!

The flowers show so well. And your log cabin square is charming!
that wash cloth IS very COOL!!! I love it!
Did you start with making a square and not a rectangle as in the afghan sample?
I love doing the log cabin thing. It's so fun! You all are going to love it. I did start with a center square. I followed the instructions that Kay gave in her original post for making a square.
I just love your dishcloth...wondering if these could be made larger into an afghan or shawl? Since I have done some quilting is rather delightful to see a different version of what we call the 'Log Cabin'...in quilting, the first thing you knit is the 'red' chimney and then go from there!
Wonderful knitted items...I am not sure about the pants for myself, but all are lovely.
Thank you sharing and happy knitting!
Sincerely
hey, what is the Spring Fling? A new knit-a-long?
