ribbed habu

Ready for sewing!

I finished reknitting the armholes during the week and spent an entire evening of Olympics adding the ribbed edging. What a nightmare! Picking up from the tight cast on edge gave me such a callous on my finger. Owie, owie. I'll be taking a couple days break from this tank for a little forgive and forget therapy.

You could try a crochet hook next time, it works really well to help pickup stitches.

Which Habu yarn is this? I love the way the colors are blended but not muddy. Give it a few days then sew that baby up and have a great new tank for the last days of summer. Of course I never put my tanks away in the winter I just wear a cardi over them.

owie, i agree with the crochet hook remedy. you wont believe how must easier it is. especially on a tight cast on edge. looks beautiful. switch back to the db cotton angora. that'll heal those hands for sure.

Alison, I love the neckline treatment you chose. I can hardly wait to see it on you! I love how finished and polished the ribbing looks--makes a gerat self-edging! Thanks again for sharing your genious with us!

This looks great. I love the additional ribbing. It really adds a nice finishing touch. Looking forward to the tank modeling shot to see how it looks on you!
