Alison (not me) writes that she's working on pink diagonal rib socks by Ann Budd
And me? I've got two toes to go and a bit of a yarn problem.

the toe bone's connected to the other toe bone
Well, when I was in NY and got to the toe on the first sock, I was just a wee bit into my second ball of yarn. I didn't want to work the toe, since I didn't have the exact measurements with me. I didn't have my third ball with me either. So I picked up the same ball and started knitting the second sock from the other end. Now I've used up all that yarn and they're connected. Guess I'll have to rip out a few rows somewhere, huh?
* I'd love to hear from those of you who haven't sent in an update yet or are keeping your socks super-dooper top secret and off of your blog. I'm sure you're all knitting away, it's just nice to be reassured of that fact! So, drop me an email if you can, please.

So are mine! (http://knitnlit.blogspot.com)
I'm still working on my mine - I'm doing them toe up and am working on the cuff right now, so I'm in the home stretch.
I, too, am working on mine. There's a picture of the finished first sock on my blog, a few days down from the most recent post (awhile ago), and I'm up to the heel flap on the second. They should be done on time, although it will be close!
I have one done and the 2nd well on it's way, my sock knitting pals (Jodee and Lydia) are done and I will take photos of them soon honest and send you pics of all 3 prs!
All these updates are great! Thanks so much for keeping me informed everyone. :)
Alison, I have moved my blog to new digs. One sock done, ready to heel the second, and I'll be done in time :)
You do know seeing all of these beautiful socks each week is like crack to a sock knitting junkie. HEE! I love it.
I'm like a kid in a candy store, "Ooooh I need to make THOSE. Wow, look at that yarn, I need some of THAT. I never thought of using that yarn with that pattern - too cool!"
And of course last but not least..."I wonder if those are for ME?"
Alison, you make a knit-along so much fun!
I am working on mine. I keep changing my mind about the pattern, so I knit, frog, knit, frog, but they will be done, I swear. I will send a pic when they are.
That is one cool picture! And you knit from both ends without a single knot? Cool.
Yeppers! Gleefully knitting away on mine. Had the usual problems deciding on yarn/pattern, etc. Did my first kool-aid dye project (horrors to dye purists, but don't have resources for seperate dye pots, etc), decided upon pattern, and have been knitting away.
I can't imagine the time it takes to assemble your Tuesday post. Which is partly why I haven't sent out a progress pic - maybe I will for next week! :)
hi alison! i am finally to a point in my surgery recovery where i feel i can be working on something i am gifting to someone else (and not felting first! i've been working on felting projects only while i was unsure of my after surgery knitting skills).
i have been working on my sockapaltwoza socks for the past week and started the heels today! no need to worry here.
Don't worry, mine are nearly finished, too! My dissertation is due this week, so I haven't done enough on them to warrant a new picture.
I am done, but my camera just got sent in for repair...so I have a pic of one lone sock, will have another pic of the pair soon!
I have one done & have started the second one. This is my first pair of this pattern. I know the pattern now so the second will go quickly!!
It's been a total blast checking out all the progress on everyone's Sockapaltwoza socks. It's very inspiring and I'm impressed with your organizational skills keeping this whole thing together. Yay you! I finished my pair of socks earlier in the week, so I thought I'd send you the link so you can mark me off the list. Thanks. Here's the link:

Though I've abandonned my blog recently, I wanted to let you know I am still making my socks. (I must get cracking though--I'm to the toe on the first one. I still have to make the second. ACK!) One less person to worry about :)
