a care square

My contribution to Annie's blanket project in honor of Kerstin's brother-in-law. The square was knit using the "Ripple Pattern" from the 365 Knit Stitches Calendar and leftover Jaeger Baby Merino DK from B.'s blankie. The yarn has given him four years of warm, snuggly consolation and love and I hope that this square can do its part to bring some of that to another. Thanks Annie for taking on this huge and wonderful project!

That's a very nice square. I know it will be appreciated.

That's a lovely square and what an appropriate yarn.
I've returned from 11 days in England and I'm catching up on everything. Almost finished my 2nd sock...working on the toe...just need finishing details after that and it will be good to go. =)

What a beautiful square. And thanks for your offer of help. :)

Hi Alison!

Can you please remind me (or us, if anyone else out there also neglected to write it down!) what the deadline is for the sock swap? I'm having serious Second Sock Syndrome, and a deadline reminder will help kick me back into gear, I think.

Enjoy HP6!! I finished it today at lunchtime, and now feel bereft without it to look forward to before bed . . .

Hi Alison!

Would you please remind me (or us, for those others who neglected to write it down, too!) what the deadline for the sock swap is? I'm suffering from serious Second Sock Syndrome, and a deadline reminder would really help kick me into gear, I think!

Love the square. It looks very comforting to me!

I am actually doing the letters in intarsia on my weasleys. That is why I knit the backs and sleeves of two of them first! The intarsia scared me, but I am happy to report that I have finished my first intarsia H with few problems at all. I actually enjoyed it!!
So by next week I should have one finished weasley and one well on the way.
