weasleys' weekly wizard wheezes

Ann finished her Azkaban scarf for Halloween and is working on Gryffindor socks now
Christy made TWO quidditch sweaters for her brothers!
Emily finished the Hogsmeade hat (you know the one Ron wears in the snowball fight scene of PoA) - it is so cool!
Laura is all done with her son's weasley (so cute!)
and Makenzie finished her Azkaban scarf

Aimee is just starting her scarf - and planning to knit 6 inches a day so she can have it done in time for the movie!
Erica is almost done with the back of her weasley, knitting as fast as she can
Erin says she's about halfway through her Azkaban scarf now (love the colors she's using!)
Mary reports that she has her HiP yarn and is finally getting started
Pixie is getting a little bored with all the stockinette on her scarf - it looks great though
Ruth has a Ravenclaw scarf underway (and just in case she can't get it done before the movie opens, she's telling the family they can see it the second week!)
Sarah has finished the back and is up to the intarsia on the front of her weasley
and
Stacie is getting close to finishing her Azkaban scarf (check out the Halloween pic of her knitting in costume!)

My weasley is also coming along on schedule. The back is complete and I'm about to cast on for the front.

Hubby asked me last night if it's okay that he doesn't want a weasley. If it means that I don't have to knit yet ANOTHER weasley before the movie opens, then yeah, I'm fine with that!

I finished my Gryffindor scarf, and have been playing 'beat the clock' in trying to get a Hufflepuff one done. I think I may make it.

Your sweater looks great so far. I love that color.

Is it too late to join the KAL? I just finished my 3rd Gryff scarf and cast on for another tonight. Blog update

Thanks!

Hi there! Glad to see everyone's making such good progress. I finished my Gryffindor scarf this morning! I'll be posting pics in a few minutes, after I download them off the camera. Thanks for running this KAL... it's my first, and it's been a lot of fun!

How do I join the knitalong?

I'm about 2/3 done with my HP scarf. (doing the original version)

I guess I'm knitting a Weasley. Last spring I found the Heraldic Lion sweater, and downloaded the chart. My husband is a genuine Scotsman, from the Glasgow area, and I offered to make him a sweater using that chart. I'm making the Sure to Fit pullover in a gold, with a red lion (the Scottish flag). From the top down, my lion faces the other way.

BTW, I don't want my own blog, I'm not that knit obsessed, but does anyone post photos of others' finished work?
