I wore the mittens the first day they were finished. It was a beautiful sunny (and luckily, cold) day and the colors were so gorgeous in the light that I couldn't stop staring at them! I only wish I could think of a reason to buy more of this Manos. (Well, that and I wish I could get a decent picture of the color.)
And finally, finally, hubby finished book 6, so we can talk Harry Potter around him again.

I think I have that color of Manos. How many hanks did the set take? It looks great.
don't you need a hermione scarf to match the set? *evil enabler grin*
very very nice :o)
I love the set! It's so bright and cheery. And I agree with Laurie a scarf is definitly in order now.
So cute! I have some yarn from handpaintedyarn that would probably work really well for that kind of project. If only we weren't having such a warm winter. =(
What a great use for the Manos! I also have that colour and found it impossible to reproduce accurately on the computer. You've inspired me to try my hand at a pair of those mittens.
I'm sure we could find excuses for why you need a sweater in that color.
Hey, Thing 1 and Thing 2 are in Magknits! Congratulations--it's so great that you published the pattern!
Beautiful work, Alison. I love those mittens! But let's get real here. Do we really need a reason to buy more Manos?
I LOVE the colors! Great job!
they are beautiful! mittens drive me crazy though - i gotta have gloves!
that's absolutely gorgeous!
I was thinking about you whe nI skimmed through the new Vogue Knitting. Have you seen it? TONS and TONS of cool cables and bobbles!
Your set looks wonderful! I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to make the hat or not, maybe I'll just wait a couple of projects, then do it.
I love the set! That's a really beautiful color. Can't wait for those finished shoes! ;-)
The set looks really beautiful and the color is fantastic!
Are B and S their real names?? Sorry I've just been wondering that.
WOW. That set is really beautiful. Wonderful job - and a lovely color too. I am also a Manos fan - you never really need a reason to buy more Manos, right?? Plus, as an HP fan, it's so nice to see more HP knits.
