2 good + 2 be = 4 forgotten
With the third round of Sockapalooza ready to begin, I'll officially close the doors on the Sockapaltwoza, the second second swap with a staggering 352 participants. What fun it was to watch all those socks being knit and knowing that hundreds of socks were being sent around the world last September! Thanks to all who successfully participated, especially to the dozens of generous sock saviors who knitted make-up socks.
Here's a few of the latest sock savior sock pics:
Jenn finished sock savior socks (close-ups here)
Tara finished a beautiful pair
fellow Knitsmith and fellow sock savior, Ariel and I worked on our sock savior socks together at knitting group this week!
I finished mine and they'll be off to a very worthy and patient recipient today.

Warming my needles up as we speak:-)
Ooh! Last week, when I signed up for Sockapalooza 3, Feb. 1 seemed so far off. Now I just realized that it's tomorrow. I can't wait to get my sock pal information. Thanks so much for doing all the work to organize this.
Wow, I only wish that I could have joined this time around - I had so much fun knitting for my sock pal! Unfortunately, a special project kept me from joining. :( Hopefully, I'll be able to join in on the SockapalOOOOza the next time around... (see how I've already named it? LOL)
Hi there, update... I just got mine. Have no info on the pal (will try emailing tonight to say one hella big- THANK YOU!!!) and posted on the blog today about them :)
Thank you so much for organising such a cool deal!
Alison, the savior socks you knit are beautiful. I love, love, love that Koigu colorway!
Hi Alison, The map was neat, only since I have an FPO address, I was not geographically plotted. You have 1 sock knitter in Beijing, China.
Patience is rewarded! Those socks are really lovely.
