yoke-ing around

Both sleeves of the LMKG man's zip raglan are in, the ribbing matches up (hooray for math!), and I'm working my way through the raglan decreases on the yoke. Boy, there's a lot of them! In fact, doesn't the whole sweater look crazy skinny and long with all that ribbing cinched in?

Now I know why the pattern says "with ribbing lightly blocked". Maybe not too lightly, huh?

For a second there I thought you were adding a body to the turtleneck shrub you recently knit! ;-)

GAD, that is GORGEOUS!
Not sure I'd be able to slog through
ALL.THAT.RIBBING...
sigh.
You are an inspiration,
as always!

As always, wonderful! Your work inspires me each day I read your blog! Enjoy your vacation with the boys and inlaws!

Yeah, that "Man Sweater" didn't take so long after all! ...and David knows that you are thinking of him while you are in Germany... awe! Hope you are having a great time.

That's awesome! Keep up the good work!!

It looks rather alarming in its current proportions! I'd be blockin' the bejeesus out of it.

Don't the armholes look a bit shallow? I hope not, for your sake!

It's looking GREAT!

ooh, i love it! and you know, you're cruising along in that man-sweater a whole heck of a lot faster than i could've. go alison! =D

Love the color; and it looks so soft! Gotta love ribbing.

I had just started my tmkg raglan when I stumbled upon you corrections for it. Thanks for working out the fix and sharing it. Your progress looks great, wish mine was that far!

it looks great - and coming along so speedy. Must be German efficiency. My ribbed sweater a month back or so also blocked from one state to a completely new one -- a few inches wider --- hope you're having fun over there.. Thea

No worries, Marie-France, I'm only about halfway done with the raglan decreases.

And yes, I'm really enjoying the Bingo yarn. It's soft and squishy! And blue. ;0)

I iron blocked mine and it worked.

Gorgeous. I love ribbing.

Thank goodness you figured out the math. That book, as lovely as the patterns are, is just riddled with errors. I had the misfortune of being an early purchaser (before the errata came out) and completely fuddled by some of the stuff. Don't get me started on the Child Placket Neck Sweater...and I had to knit two for the twins!

It does look small, but when put on, it fits perfectly - at least my husband's sweater did!
