where there's metal yarn there must be metal sheep

But although there's a whole menagerie of metal creatures in the boys' Ritter Rost books (here's a little blurb in English), all I could find were these metal goats.

Maybe it's metal cashmere!

Die Sendung mit der Maus! I miss that. Ritter Rost is new to me though. Just the other day I was thinking about Higeldy und Pigeldy. Not from the Maus, but a Sandmaennchen Gute Nacht Geschichte.

That's so cute! Are the books normally in German? And are you raising the boys bilingual? If so -- way cool! And very fun illustrations in those books!

Me again. After looking at the picture again I had to note that the metal "yarn" looks like barbed wire -- ouch! ;-)
