greetings from the pumpkin patch

The costumes came out super cute, but with the stuffing, the boys just became tooth-achingly sweet. They thought it was so funny when I started stuffing them and they were "getting all fat". They ended up with big bellies and poofy butts that would waddle with them as they walked. It was too adorable. Hubby and I laughed our whole way through the neighborhood behind them!

pumpkin on the way

To get in on the fun, I followed Freecia's suggestion and put a little pumpkin face on my little baby bump. Baby even had her own tiny pumpkin candy basket, just big enough for a mini-reeses peanut butter cup and a milk dud or two. Yum!

"Okay, let's go get candy!"

The Girl's jack o'lantern is my favorite, but the boys are cute too. Happy Hallow's Eve.

They look adorable! =)

How sweet! Em came home from China in September of 1995 (she was about 6 months old) and in Ocotber we attended the Boston MoS party with her in a sweet pumpkin costume! I love the pumpkin bump!

Too cute! Hey, you could pad those pumpkins with the loot they got and go back for more. You'll have to come over to my blog and check out my kiddo's costume. LOVE the baby bump jack-o-lantern.

The boys (and baby bump) look so cute. I hope they get a good haul.

Just so happens that my first grandchild dressed up as a pumpkin too. He/she had to stay "inside" for the event though. ;-) Wanna see? www.busternme.blogspot.com

The boys in their costumes brought an immediate grin to my face, which only widened after seeing the 'bump' in her costume. I know you guys had fun!

Posted by: JennyRaye at October 31, 2006 9:57 PM

adorable! especially your pumpkin shirt!

Posted by: Thea at October 31, 2006 10:01 PM

I love the personality of the boys' pumpkin faces. I think I like the scary face best. :)

Okay, that baby bump costume is such a great idea!!!

Posted by: Melissa at October 31, 2006 10:14 PM

i can practically hear the swish swish as they waddled. at least the extra padding let you give them an extra hard squish/hug!

Posted by: cyn at October 31, 2006 10:31 PM

you guys are too cute!

Posted by: spirals at October 31, 2006 11:33 PM

The are completely adorable, well done and your t-shirt is very cute.

Posted by: yvette at November 1, 2006 3:23 AM

How smart with baby's own candy basket. And the best part I guess - you got to eat it all??

Very cute, all four of you.

Oooooh so adorable! Wish they had showed up at my door. What a picture they make. Congratulations for making those costumes.

Adorable! It's nice to see that the "baby bump" wasn't forgotten!

All three costumes are adorable. :)

They look adorable! I love your girly pumpkin too ;)

My mom had each of us in April, March, and February. And every time she'd wear this t-shirt with a pumpkin over the belly for halloween. And every time it was bigger! Seeing you do the same reminded me of many fun halloweens when I was excited to trick or treat, and excited that soon I'd have a new baby sibling =)

Posted by: Amber at November 1, 2006 9:04 AM

Oh man, too cute. And how nice that you get to "help" the baby by ingesting a little Halloween candy on her behalf. Sometimes it's good to be pregnant, huh? ;-)

Posted by: Mary at November 1, 2006 9:52 AM

OMG! The picture of the three of you is too cute! Those are the cutest pumpkin costumes I've ever seen. I really like that the boys got to make the faces on them.

Posted by: sara at November 1, 2006 10:05 AM

Adorable! I love the baby pumpkin :)

Posted by: Julie at November 1, 2006 10:15 AM

So cute. I love that you dressed up the baby -- the boys must already feel like she's part of the family.

Great job on those costumes! Those boys look great and it looks like they loved them.

That level of cute is illegal in many states and British Columbia.

Posted by: Nancy at November 1, 2006 5:09 PM

I love them, they came out so good, and I love the pumpkin on the way on your belly thats great, I wish I would have thought of that. I hope your feeling good.

Waaaaaaaaay too cute!

Posted by: Elemmaciltur at November 2, 2006 2:25 AM

The picture of you three (and a half) is just the best.

I think I have a cavity now.

Posted by: Eklectika at November 2, 2006 4:02 PM

They didn't need pillowcases to stash their goodies. Cleverly stash the treats right in the pumpkins.

Posted by: Patricia at November 2, 2006 7:50 PM

Love the baby bump! Congratulations!
