ravenclaw

"Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
if you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind."

One more house hat (a PoA-style beret in Ultra Alpaca) done! Just Slytherin left to do.

"And at last there came a morning
when old Slytherin departed
and though the fighting then died out
he left us quite downhearted.
And never since the founders four
were whittled down to three
have the Houses been united
as they once were meant to be."

Can you tell that I'm getting psyched for the next book? Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

I'm glad to see at least one of the boys is still alive. LOL

I'm excited too! No HP knits for me yet though! I'm going to make a house scarf or something for the premiere of Deathly Hallows though (so pumped for the release!).

BTW 56 days, 7 hours and 25 minutes (but I'm not counting either).

hey, like the poem and the hat. Sorry, but you've been tagged for a meme thing 7 things about you, and pass it on to 7 more people - I'm too superstitious not to do it, but have no attachments if you choose not to! See you soon, Thea

I want to enter the sweepstake for the midnight reading! I'm going to be in London but I don't have an address yet, as soon as I do I think I'll enter.

Me too! I've already warned my husband that he is going to have to watch the kids the ENTIRE day it comes out, because all I'm going to do is sit and read, with short breaks for the bathroom.

The last book I read in 8 hours, with no stopping. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

(Not even knitting will take precedence over the next H.P. book)

Alison, I couldn't find your email addy - and I'm sure it is something very simple. Could you please send me an email so I can write you back with a question. Thanks bunches.

Same here! I only wish the release date were in chilly weather rather than July, so I could wear my HP knitwear in comfort!

Cute beret! I'm working on a Gryffindor one for my daughter right now! (btw, I got to be first on Amazon to review the book--love it!)
