look what my brothers gave me

Yes, it's pink eye, making me yucky and gunky and keeping me from trying on or playing with any of the new things mama just made for me. Pictures of those next week!

oh no! Poor wee one! My son had that the other week and it so sad when they wake up and can't open their eyes. Hope it gets better soon.

Yuk! That's no fun. I just got over that myself a couple of months ago.

My nine yr old had a bout of pink eye. It took weeks and much missed school before he was free of it.

Poor baby!

Oh, poor thing! I have much sympathy for those with eye issues.

Posted by: Carole at March 14, 2008 9:54 AM

oh! I had that a few years ago...but it looks horrendous on that sweet little face. Poor thing, hard to deal with it when you don't exactly understand what's going on with your eyes!

Poor baby! Ah, well. It's a rite of passage, of sorts. Hope she's all better soon.

Poor Wee One - I remember having that as a child & how miserable it made me feel. She looks just like I felt! Hope it clears up soon.

Poor little girl. Pink eye is just not fun.

Posted by: Seanna Lea at March 14, 2008 12:51 PM

Poor baby! She looks like she doesn't feel good. Sending her healing thoughts. Those brothers. Can't live with them, can't live without them.

When one of us got pink eye a while back the doctor.. a very intellegent doctor who knows our family well.. took the initiative to order up a script for the BIG bottle of drops.. yep I like our docs!

Poor little one.

We are dealing with it here too. Jack (6yo) had it and now Daddy has it. Just waiting for Dan (4yo) to get it.

Oh, poor thing! I have worked in ophthalmology for a billion years and before I even read it I saw the pic and went "OH NO!" Tee-hee! I guess that we all have to go through some icky rites of passage as children, correct? I hope that she feels better soon! :)

Posted by: Chelsea at March 14, 2008 7:26 PM

Oh, no! Sometimes it's just not nice to share. :(

I don't think I've ever had pink eye, but one of the guys I work with had it a few years back.

Posted by: Sheri at March 15, 2008 9:10 AM

Oh, ew! Hope wee one gets better soon!

Posted by: yuvee at March 15, 2008 10:05 AM

:( Here's hoping the pink eye leaves the household alone soon!

Posted by: Andrea at March 15, 2008 11:42 AM

I just finished giving drops for pink eye to my 7 yr old twin boys and their little brother, sat down at the computer and, 1st thing, opened your blog only to see: pink eye--how odd. I feel sorry for wee one and your boys, but I feel bad for the mama, too. I calculate that for 3 kids, 2 drops in each eye, 3x per day for 10 days, we're going to have to give 360 eye drops! I hope your kids are more cooperative than mine, and I hope you escape without getting it, too:)

ohhh, poor sweetums. Seems like these things always arrive in waves - several bitties I know are downed by the same thing, halfway across the country. Bleah! Here's to a speedy recovery, so she can model her new stuff!
