« and that's what little boy sweaters are made of | Main | putting my designer's cap back on... »

may 19, 2008

you put your left arm in... you take your left arm out...

You put your left arm in and you shake it all about. Because setting in sleeves is annoying.

The little white smock cardigan is as cute as ever, but it's about to end up a vest if I can't get these g.d. sleeves in! I thought the denim yarn would shrink the armholes a bit more but those sleeve caps are still a little small. I've got to really finesse this seaming to make it work.

And that's what it's all about!

But it's so cute! I'm no fan of setting in sleeves, but it's a necessary evil.

It might be hard, but it will be so worth it once its done.

Ah! Now I have the hokey pokey stuck in my head, a song that has led to more interesting (read embarassing) moments than nearly any other song.

You'll get it. We all have faith. So cute!

It's a lovely little cardigan and will look so cute on wee one. I'm sure you'll find a way to set in the sleeve. I'm a great admirer of yours
and I know that you don't give up easily.

I, too, now have the hokey pokey stuck in my head. THANKS! :) It will look just darling once you get that right sleeve in and hopefully not out and in again.
