I've been reading your blog for a while and haven't commented, but something about this super cute hat inspired me to let you know how much I enjoy seeing your many creations.

The hat came out really cute and seems to work well with your coloring...what more could you want!
Love it.

The hat is very cute. And the color and style look great on you!

Your hat looks great in that yarn. I just discovered your blog through Mason Dixon & I'm glad I stopped by. I'm trying out that twitter widget on my terribly updated blog.(maybe it will help) Thanks for the idea! Will be back again - Lisa

A question -
Did you change the pattern in any way? I'm wondering, because the picture on the pattern makes the hat looks huge. Your's is terribly cute, though.

Posted by: Liz Andrsn at November 16, 2008 11:29 AM

Liz, I didn't change anything in the pattern. I cast on the same number of stitches and knit 6 inches before starting the decreases. The yarn, however, may be thicker than the yarn she used for her hat.

UPDATE:
I'm working on a second one in a more standard worsted weight yarn and it is coming out slouchier like the one in the pattern pic.

That's a really cute hat, and it looks like it was a pretty fast knit too! A double win!
