knitting with mi-5

Another night, another show, same three inches of the candy stripe jacket.

I ripped out the few inches I'd already knit (sans slip-stitch edging, doh!) and reknit them correctly, this time while watching MI-5 (hubby and I are only on the second season, so no spoilers, please!). It was certainly a different experience knitting to MI-5 than Miss Marple. A bit more distracting and intense. But when things get scary, I can get lost in my cashmere. Mmmmmm, cashmere....

Yes, for Spooks/MI-5 you sometimes want to hide *behind* the knitting.

Yes, MI-5 is AWESOME!!! I can't believe what happened last week! I totally can't wait until tonight! I had to cast on a new project so that I don't have to pay close attention to the pattern! :D I am in love with that show. I'm bummed, though, my classes start in 2 weeks and I will no longer be home when it's on! Sob!

Oooo, we just started watching MI-5 too! We're only on the 2nd disc of season one though. >.

It's peculiar how siblings at one age get along well and at another age....don't. But then they get older and get along again.

After being inspired by your last post... mmm cashmere... I dug up from my railway trunk a couple of skeins of Ice-Blue cashmere that I had given as a present. Picked up my copy of Charmed Knits and bashed out a lovely version of Harry's Socks. Using an odd remnant of turquoise cashmere for the heel and toe. Time taken: 3 days. Films watched: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Ready to see new film on sunday) ;-)
