Third grade this year! I decided to try to to start a little tradition of taking goofy first-day pictures in odd years. This morning I got this.

Oh, don't worry about that age thing.
My 25 year old would gladly pose for a silly picture. And so would most of his friends!

Do boys ever outgrow the ability to be silly? My boys will probably never stop, I'm quite certain, even when they're in suits and acting dignified. Gotta love boys. Those pictures are great.

I took pictures of my kids every year until the older one wetn to college. (They are 7 years apart!). And now I still take a picture every year of the younger one.
You will love looking at them later on...
