mommy, is it okay if I have your knitting sticks?
Oh sure. I wasn't doing anything with them anyway. So the rain has finally stopped, which means we can move our bed back to where it belongs since water has stopped dripping from the ceiling onto us while we sleep. But a few nights of no sleep has left me sick. Of course, I'm also running an early morning PTO project at the school and organizing a classroom activity for B's class for next week and juggling a schedule including two or three other school events. It's only Tuesday and I'm exhausted!

Ouch. Hopefully the ensuing lack of rain will help you get back on your feet soon. I have been counting my lucky stars that with so much of my town flooded (and the number of hoses pumping water to the curb was pretty amazing) that I managed to stay dry inside. Saturday in the Philly area we experienced the same rain and wind resulting in water dripping in above a relatively new window. To add insult to injury, our master bathroom shower leaked into the front hallway. Our bathrooms are getting redone but I guess the shower didn't want to wait its turn.
