Halloween is coming! We've been choosing patterns for Hansel Homemade Halloween: Year 7 and made a little trip out to the party store for supplies this week. Here is wee wearing a couple of the items we picked up for S's costume.

My guess is - the guy from UP? :)
Superman (the glasses are for Clark Kent)
Nope, it's neither of those, but I like the guy from Up guess.
I have no idea, but it is really cute!
Hmmm is it the "old guy" who dances in the Six Flags commercials? :-)
Waldo? But he's not bald, I guess.
Yes, Lauren, S is going to be Mr. Six! I'll be making him a little bowtie and cummerbund. He'll have to work on his crazy dancing!
Great costume idea! We always spend Halloween with the grands & this will be the first year in several that I haven't made at least some of their costumes. All 3 are obsesses with Harry Potter (my daughter overheard the youngest, Baby M who is a few months older than Wee, say to her next older brother, "Bloody Hell!" when something went awry during their play at the dining room table) So this year I bought their costumes - the oldest is going to be Lord Voldemort, the middle (the ony one with my brown hair & eyes & he even wears glasses) will be Harry & Baby M is going to be Hermione. My daughter did refuse her request to dye her lovely blonde locks the same color as Hermione's! It actually was no more expensive to buy them than to make them & freed up time for the knitting of grands' socks! (I try to make at least a pair for their BD's - one in early Sept & the other 2 the first half of Nov) & another pair for Xmas. They LOVE handknit socks!
