Summer's almost over. We've visited Oma & Opa in Germany and wee has stood at the hedge again and looked out into the future.
This picture makes me happy. Many things have changed since last year (there's a ladder in the hedge and I'm blogging elsewhere now) but some things stay the same.

I miss your knitting and life posts, though the tree blog is awesome (and I don't get to it nearly often enough!).
I agree with Seanna Lee. I know its crazy, but I have been following your blog for a long while now. I miss seeing your posts here, but I do enjoy your other blog.
So glad to see this photo! I hope that someday you make a collage of all these pretty photos of your daughter standing at that hedge.
I do like the tree blog, and hope that you can continue this blog as well. I miss your fiber projects.
Thanks Alison! Lovely to see your annual pics of Wee & the Hedge. She's such a big girl now; how time flies. I too agree with the previous comments, I miss reading your blog but am enjoying your tree tales.
So glad to see this post. I have been checking up on you here throughout your absence. Hope you will continue this fiber blog.
Glad to see that you are back, you were missed. The tree blog is fun but your fiber blog is great! Please don't desert us.
Count me among those who are glad to see this post. I've been wondering if you ever finished those purple gloves.
Have to ask... Did you sew the pretty dress that Wee is wearing? Love the fabric!
Thanks for asking, speattle. I wish I had time to make things like that for her these days but I just don't anymore. :( The dress is from Garnet Hill.
Miss reading your posts about knitting and family. Glad to see you back again!
