blue's back
The blue blog is back! New domain, new MovableType install, a new page or two. Poke around a bit.... you like-y?
Well, this isn't a blog about blogging, so let's get on with it!

Believe it or not, I did manage to do some knitting during the move. I've reknit the armholes on all the finished pieces of my bumpy blue sweater that was coming out too small. I still haven't seamed them up yet, so who knows if my calculations made enough of a difference. And I still have the last sleeve to knit, but I'm waiting until I can be sure that I've got the numbers right before I start that last piece. I don't know if its the accomplishment of having reknit half the sweater, or successfully moving the blog, but I'm starting to think that I might have enough yarn for this sweater after all.
And look what I got on my last visit to Circles Knitting Salon, my lovely local yarn store with the mom's knitting group.

A beautiful little treat for all my hard work last week.

Welcome to your new home!
Yay, you did it! Congratulations! Yes, I HEAR THAT. Amber's sweater is great, when are YOU writing up the pattern? I've missed so much and I hope to be back this week. Enjoy your new domain!
Oh! finally I can stop missing you! I was so *blue* all week without my alison fix! :)
And.....I like-y! You done good! Space to move around here. Room to grow!! That's a good thing!
I'm loving the brushed alpaca and can't wait to see it! IT! *IT*****! :)
There is only one more thing to say. A million chameleons, all in a row!!
xo
Congrats on the move! Everything looks great, including the bumpy blue sweater. I just finished reknitting a blue sweater myself so now it's time to FINALLY start my Phildar sweaters.
I am so glad you are back! And WOW, the knitsmiths pages are fantastic! I didn't know we had such a beautiful and complete web presence. Great job.
Welcome to your new space. I hope you have lots of room to stretch out in now. I know it's a knitting blog, but I'd love to know what's new in MT...I've been thinking about upgrading but don't want to mess with it if there aren't enough new useful things.
Good luck with that sweater. The yarn reminds me of Jaeger Natural Fleece which was also a challenge to seam.
BTW... I finished my Banff! Seeing your finished sweater was really motivational.
Hey everyone, welcome to the new blue blog! Glad you like it. I hope it'll be a little easier to find your way around here now.
Carrie, it was about time we knitsmiths had our own page, don't you think? It's also easier for me to organize all the great knitsmiths' pics and links this way. Enjoy it!
Theresa, how great that you finished your Banff! Gotta go check it out...
I've still got to catch up on all my blog reading. Do let me know of any knit-along progress that I missed so I can jump right over to your sites to catch up! Can't wait to see the progress all of you have made while I was away. :)
Nice new place you have here, Alison! Love the Knitsmithy--it will be fun to keep up with everything everyone is working on.
Karabella---yum!
Hey now Kerstin, I'm perfectly capable of writing up the pattern myself..(sans bobbles of course..ugh) I really do need to get over to Circles, I mean, I'm *right* here. Congrats on your site move, everything looks great! :)
Hey that bandwidth looks nice on you! Great job, I'm sure it was a lot of work and fiddley bits and it's perfect!
I love the Knitsmiths page...can't wait to see more of what you all are up to. And how lucky are you to have that mommy's knitting group. Lucky!
Glad to see you back up and running.
Don't forget to change me to orange, Banff is done. I wore it to a guild meeting last week.
Your blue sweater is looking good.
Glad to have you back in action! I kept checking in and then I would remember that you were busy "moving". Oh, and you can add me in to that Pantalong. Bonne Marie enabled me with the yarn (per her site today), so I'm good to go!
