My summer beach version of sweetness is coming along well. I can't stop knitting this because I just love seeing how the colors are coming out! I added waist shaping and now this puppy is like totally form-fitting. I've slipped it on and we're talking second skin here. I hope it won't end up being too immodest to wear! I keep telling myself that the cotton will grow a bit while I've got it on. Yeah, it'll grow a bit. Right.

Very, very sweet! And you can definitely get away with form-fitting :)
goodness sakes alive! I can't believe it--look how far you've gotten! It looks great, Alison!
Oh...so luverly. And I love that waist-shaping. If you've got it, flaunt it, lady!
(Don't worry - blocking does wonders for cotton :-))
I love the color combo! I think a form fitting summer tee is a great idea. Very feminine.
What Becky and Cindy said . ;-]
You knit things up so quickly, but in a quiet way ! Every time I look there's a pic of a big chunk of knitting.Have you trained the boys ? To knit, that is !
Wow those colors are great. I have been contemplating doing that pattern with Berroco's Pronto ... I can't wait to see the finished product!
Morgan
ps. Add me to smooch too please. That is another one I have been contemplating so I might as well do it when you do *lol*
Beautiful colors and the waist shaping is perfect. Wait. I thought you were not going to knit or blog much this week? *lol*
Alison, this looks very good. You're a quick one. I think the thing with the kids (I have 3) is that they know when you're knitting you're happy. Works that way for me.
I really, really want to join you gals next week for Rowan #27 tank. What do I need to do besides going to get the pattern and yarn, which I'll do over the weekend. Thx
You all are so sweet! As soon as I get the top in a semi-finished state, I'll show you how form fitting it is. I hope you're right, Becky, and I can block in a bit of breathing room!
Welcome to the knitalong, Lynette!
yum -- it looks like a really yummy icecream cone of all unusual flavors!!! i want!!
great color combinations!
Are you finding it faster to knit up doing it all in the round? I'm thinking of doing Pagan in the round - not that the magazine has arrived yet so I haven't had a chance to look at the pattern.
Linda, I am enjoying knitting it in the round. I'll have to weave in all those ends from the stripes, so I'm glad that I at least won't have to seam the sides! I was thinking of doing Pagan in the round as well (I'm planning on striping that one too). But I also really like being able to slip the work on spare yarn and try it on, so I can see how it's coming out, exactly how long it should be and where the waist shaping should be for me. I find that it's a big help!
