brown butter
Glad he likes it Alison. So that's one down - how many left to go?
That looks suspiciously like Strike which Wayne picked out of Rowan 27 for me to make for him. Are we going to have matching men? Hee hee
The wool cotton is buttery, isn't it? I'm using it for Pearl and I'm looking forward to using it for a "plain" sweater to highlight the smoothness of the yarn. My wool cotton swatch came out very much like the ASC. Perfect.
Looks great. I made one very similar for my father for Christmas - he wears it all the time.
I never wear vests. But I could be tempted. The wool/cotton is such a beautiful yarn. But it's my arms that get cold. Will have to see.
Great job!! You should be prous, and even if he does like it and wears it maybe you can sneak a wearing in here and there.
Oh! What a great vest, and a wonderful fit. That double rib at the hem does wonders - not too elastic, but holds it in just enough so the vest falls just right. Very nice, Alison. I bet your husband is happy to have that vest! (Think I'll knit one for my husband, too. That way, I can "borrow" it. Tee hee!
i love wearing vests! beautiful work!
That vest turned out great and looks good on the hubby to boot. Nice job!
Alison you are amazing! I don't know how you accomplish all that you do, with two adorable toddlers to care for as well. The vest is wonderful.
