boo boo

A little delay in posting today. We were totally down for a day here while they finally got our internet service up and running. And now that we're back online, I don't have any real knitting progress to report, because I had a wee accident with the fabric shears while working on my latest sewing project.

Little boo boo, big bandage, and just like that I was a thumb down and falling behind on my knitting. So while others (LoobyLou, Kerrie) are already finished, my Pagan waits enviously.

Oh ,poor thumb !
You'll just have to surf, look at knitting patterns ,yarn and stuff ,and plot and plan.Sounds good to me ;-]

owie. perhaps you could get some sort of knitting attachement stuck on there instead, a la Captain Hook? ;)

Ouch! And how vexing, as you really do need that thumb to knit with.

Oh no! I hope it really is just a little boo boo and that you heal quickly.

I've occasionally wondered what I would do if I had an injury that prevented me from knitting easily (like a broken arm) and how far I would go to overcome it and how much pain I would put up with.

I guess you can be happy that your other hobby doesn't involve power tools. ;)

due to the proliferation of melissas in the knitting world, i think i'll add my last initial to make things a little easier! :)

just wanted to say i'm a daily reader of your site and am sorry to see that you're out of commission at the moment! keep that neosporin handy - it'll heal in no time. your pagan looks great so far though - i hope to join one of the knit alongs later in the summer (once i get a little faster at this knitting stuff. :)
