I finished the pipsqueak sweaters just in time for the cool weather yesterday. (All I had left to do was sew in the snaps.) The boys wore them for a trip around the pond to feed the ducks.

Awwwwwwww....I love those sweaters and the shots of your boys wearing them! Your boys are darling in those knits.
Super terrific! You should be a proud mom and a proud knitter. The boys are adorable and the sweaters look great. Do you have a favorite? Do they? Do they have opinions about who wears which one?
How cute are they? The boys AND the sweaters.
Wow, those sweaters are great! They look so snuggly too! I wish my son were still in the cute sweater stage.
They deserve a fan mag devoted entirely to them! The cutest models these parts have ever seen. Way to go on those snaps, too. Absolutely beautiful job (the boys AND the sweaters!).
you may want to check with rowan -- they might want to do a "benny and stefan" book next time instead of "miss bea"
Those are 2 lucky boys and don't they look cute in their new sweaters.
Hey, how about send some of that cool weather to South Carolina!! Your boys are adorable and the sweaters look just perfect.
Oh, they're so sweet! My Pipsqueak is 5'10" and 200 lb now...and I left him at university yesterday. (Sigh) The house is too quiet -- and too clean...
Oh they are too cute (boys AND sweaters). What fun to have little ones to knit for :)
Oh, they are absolutely adorable! And the sweaters look great.
SOOOO cute! Those sweaters are great, and the snap idea looks like it came about wonderfully. (and the kids, the kids are so cute!)
Absolute darlings! Love those sweaters. Aren't kids things the greatest(fast adn easy).
Oh how cute! You did a fantastic job, Alison!
Noel saw Benny playing with his trains and he said, "I want to get my trains now like that leetle boy."
Great sweaters--the boys look adorable. Now a Mommy question. Do you just say to hell with it and let them wear your handknits for any occasion? I have an almost 3 year old and keep hesitating to make him stuff because I can't bear to see food stains or paint or mud stains on them--I'm being too uptight, right?
The sweaters and the boys are lovely. They've really grown !
I love the whole thing of knitting for children. The feeling that you're keeping your little one / s warm and snuggly, and how very cute they look.
They're very lucky boys to have such a clever Mama ,who makes then cute and trendy knitwear. :0]
Wonderful!!! The boys are too cute wearing there sweaters. :)
Adorable sweaters, Alison! I have been trying to pick our a sweater pattern to make for my little guy (6 months old). Those Pipsqueak designs are so cute!
They look GREAT (boys and sweaters). I am glad to see those sleeves rolled up a bit... hopefully they will be able to wear them for a long while.
SO CUTE!! The boys and the sweaters! What a creative and talented mamma!
The boys and their new sweaters are adorable.
Thanks everyone! I'm so proud of my little pipsqueaks (boys and sweaters too). They all came out so well. :0)
Michelle asked about who gets which sweater and whether the boys argue about it. They really don't care much about what they're wearing, although they do like it when there's something recognizable on their shirts like a truck or Dora. Generally, I just ask the first one I can grab to get dressed which he'd prefer and then the other one gets what's left. No one has complained so far. Knock on wood!
Steph, I have similar issues about the boys "messing" up their knits. When they're new, I try to remove them before the boys eat, let's say, spaghetti or something like that. And I wouldn't put them on if I knew they were going to finger paint, but for something like strolling around the pond or playing at the (not muddy) playground, I try to be strong and let go. The idea is for them to wear the stuff, right?!
