more caps

Sleeve caps, that is.

Totally made up some sleeve caps for the holiday island sweater this weekend. I'd been redoing all the numbers in the pattern for my gauge and size but the sleeve cap seemed way weird when I just converted mathematically, so I ripped and reshaped. And ripped and reshaped. I think I've got it how I want it now. I've pinned it in the armhole and started seaming a little to see how it will fit. So, look for this sweater to be finished this week. (I'm frenzying, Sandy!)

Here's a peek at the frilly sleeve edging. It's purty.

Those frills give thrills and leave out the chills. :)

Very purty. I'm experiencing ruffle envy.

Yes, pretty indeed! And I admire your patience with the caps.

Hey Alison! I have my yarn for the poncho-o-long! I will be making the Reynolds Lopi book 82122 Pattern 10 in the Lite-Lopi.

I have a question, or rather I need opinions... I am making a felted hat (think superfly) in a dark grey Lambs Pride wool I bought earlier this year. I purchased color number 0054 in Lite-Lopi for this poncho.

Do you think it will coordinate? Color 0054 is a very light grey heather, kind of dove grey.... Should I bag it and exchange for a slightly darker grey? (I do want the cablework to show in the pattern.) Any help is fantastic! Thanks!

You are frenzying the frills! Cool! I'm glad I'm not frenzying alone! :)
Go girl!
