Same jacket, same kids. Six months difference. Grown right into it. (Just as I planned - mmmwahhhahhhaa). Now to make it a pair....

They sure have grown but it looks like there's still room for more growth in those jackets.
How fast our babies grow up! It just breaks my heart. It looks like there's still some room to grow into that sweater though. Yay!
Man, did they sprout! It alwaws amazes me how fast kids grow. But he still looks great in his jacket :)
WOW! They did grow! And Benny looks adorable in that cute tweedy coat - just right for fall and early winter. I can't wait to see the two of them together, wearing their matching jackets. (And look at how cute his brother looks in the background...awwwwwwwwwww!)
I love that jacket--could you share that pattern name and what materials you used--or is this your own creation. They really do grow don't they? I've been getting the kids to try on winter stuff from last year--not too much fits. At least this way you always get to make them new things.
Hey Steph, the pattern info is on the archive page for this project here. It's from a Phildar book from last year. I'm not sure if it's still available. The yarn is though - it's a fabulous wool/alpaca mix, Phildar Legende.
When you said, now to make it a pair, I took it to mean another baby. : D
Hi ALison, I would like to be part of the poncho-along. I've been considering myself a part of it, have made a poncho, and have linked to your site...but never did sign up! Silly!
Thanks!
-Stefanie.
Hey they better not grow out of those cute sweaters before it's even cold enough to wear them!
So in keeping with your evil plan, how big are you going to make the NEXT pair of jackets?
It's a way to mark the passage of time! Sniff.
