hubby hat

Another holiday knit-gift done. Presenting the hubby hat...

Hey Mikey, he likes it! Even though it's not doubleknit, it was enough to keep his head warm through the latest storm. Snow tested, hubby approved. Alright!

(Always wanted to know what hubby does while I'm knitting? He wears my knits of course!)

That looks so cosy around the ears I think you should make matching hats for the boys as well.

Looks fabulous!

Congratulations on the hat! It looks very warm and cozy. While talking about gifts, I am pleased to report that I have 1 gift done for the holiday knitalong! I was hoping for three but I think two is more realistic at this point (and I have several Jan or Feb birthdays for which I can keep making things). So that's one of two-- although it is actually two, a matching pair of socks. I am so happy that I finally finished a knitted gift! It's been many years since I've done that. Thanks to the knitalong for inspiring me.

Faboo hat Alison! Now, if I could get my hubby to wear a knitted (by me) hat....

That's a great hat! I'm impressed with how well all these hats are coming out, and how quickly you knit them. Inspiring!

[And hello to Mr. Alison's Hubby, working on the laptop. Guten Tag! :-)]

Very nice hat! I just finished a hubby gift too (socks), but he doesn't get to see them til Christmas day. Only one more gift to go, yay!

I like the hat, the color is so nice. I am thinking of making a watch cap after the holidays and may add that double layer around the ears.

I finished the knitting of my last gift, the Lily bag, just need to felt it this week, then line it and my nieces bag. Yippee. I am so glad to be done (9 childrens hats, 1 doubleknitski for my Dad, an adapted Rockstar scarf (from Knitty) and felted mittens for my mother, felted mittens for my niece plus a different felted bag for her and another felted mittens, longway knitted scarf set that I don't know who it will go to yet).

Now to make a baby blanket by the end of January with maybe a matching sweater and another sweater for my hairdresser who is going out on maternity leave in February along with something for her daughter who isn't so happy about being a big sis. I am thinking a small felted bag and a teddy bear with a cardigan sweater or a sweater that you can change the front with different button on sections.

Love the hat! My guy wanted a double knit hat too. These boys...I told Jacob that it was too complicated for me! So he got a single knit one. That color is so nice and cozy....
