Now that I'm down to just one holiday gift left, I let myself knit a bit on my finally Phildar pullover. This yarn is so quick to knit that there's no need to take too long of a break from holiday knitting. Here's the finished front.
Now that I'm cranking along, I'm wondering, how are all my Phildar filly friends doing?? Looks like Angela's sweater is coming along beautifully. And Silvia's already planning another Phildar project. Of course, many of you are getting holiday knitting out of the way first (very good of you) and have your Phildar sweaters coming up. But just to tempt you fillies, there's a new, gorgeous, free pattern up at the Phildar site! Mmmwwwahahaha.

Where do you get Phildar patterns and yarn? When I lived in Montreal there were Pingouin and Phildar stores with patterns in English and French. It was very tempting having to walk by there each day.
Fantaaaaaaaasiaaaa! Your "pull" is looking gorgeous, what with its lovely shade and overall loveliness. I hope I get to see a finished product before I leave next week. And, avoid knitting up the Fantasia I just bought. It's hard to resist, though. Must. Resist. Knitting. The. Fantasia!
Alison, can you remind us again which sweater you are knitting?
That is a lovely shade of fantasia Alison. Almost makes me want to pull Brooke's half completed fantasia sweater out and finish it off. If I wasn't working so hard on the Colinette throw that is!
Holiday knitting done here. Finished item number 10 last night, yay! Love the Phildar, too many patterns too little time though.
Hey Cyndy, I get that question a lot, so I'm putting up a little info page for you. Check it out.
Linda, I'm making this sweater out of Phildar's Automne catalog from last year.
Becky and Kerrie, I dare you to stay away from the Fantasia now! But kudos to you Kerrie for working on that afghan. And to you Brenda for finishing your holiday knits. Yay!
I've got the book and pattern picked out for my Phildar Filly project; however, I need the pattern translated. I haven't been in a big rush because of the holidays. Hopefully, I'll get going on it the first of the year.
The fantasia looks wonderful!!
Hi - finished another holiday gift over the weekend...and just added another last minute one, so my count's 4 of 9 completed now....Gladly one of the incomplete can wait until New Year's Eve since I won't see them until then! :-)
That's a cool sweater. Those sleeves are a perfect excuse not to do the washing-up!
That new Phildar sweater is gorgeous! Unfortunately, I don't know enough French to translate the pattern.
I finished another pair of socks, so I'm up to 6 out of 12 completed Christmas gifts.
Hey filly, the Fantasia pulli is looking good! I love that yarn! Do you know, I've just realized I've got TWO more Phildar sweaters to knit after the Copa is done! What's next on your list?
Hey Kristy and Christina, which patterns are you doing? Send me an email and maybe I can help.
Silvia, you are the queen of Phildar fillies! I've still got a couple of Phildar sweaters up my sleeve though, so watch out! ;0) The next one is a boucle sweater from the latest Automne mag. In green - you inspired me!
OK i seriously want to know - do you want my ribbie leftovers? there is a LOT left on that cone. i think at least two little boy vests? email me your address again because lord knows i won't be able to find it and i'll send it over when i get back from christmas. assuming you want it that is. :)
I'm stuck on the pocket edging on my essentials sweater. How lame is that?
I'm FINISHED!!! I finished my last pair of socks for gifting last night!! Whew, 16 for 16!!....now for some ME knitting!!!
PS - Love your new Phildar sweater Alison, it looks so *harvest-y* :)
