mmmm... waaaarm

Amidst all the ripping last week, I finished my neckwarmer. As usual, I had to add some stripes. But now it matches my winter coat just perfectly. Pattern, anyone??
And I guess we're not done ripping after all. I found another project in my wip basket that needed a good frogging - the cowl that I started knitting as a Christmas gift. I had second thoughts about using up so much of this fabulous alpaca and decided to save the yarn for something else.

And spotted elsewhere in rip-city: Carrie (who ripped several projects last week) was knitting away Sunday at Knitsmiths with some beautiful homespun yarn reclaimed from an old project. And several more rippers have joined the list over the weekend. Check out all the projects Stacy is planning on ripping!

mmm, nice warm neckwarmer. Very snug. So what's the plan for all the alpaca then?
A very stylish match for your coat. BTW, neat coat.
I made a high-speed trip through rip-city myself yesterday when my sleeve increases went all wonky. Back on track now.
Hallo sister Ripsters!
Ripped out the Peach Cardigan Sunday night and washed the crinkly bits. Despite air-drying on hangers with weights suspended it's still fairly crinkly!
I definitely see why people own swifts. This job would have been significantly easier with one.
Guess what else gets reclaimed as a result of this rip-along? A pair of bamboo needles, hurrah.
Can I just say, at this time, that this is the first "a-long" that I have completed and it feels great! Hurrah for finishing!!

I don't know why, but I love the look of ripped out yarn!
Help I have the ripping blues. Ever since I ripped my Tyrolean Cardigan back I just haven't had the ambition to reknit. I fear it will be the never ending sweater. I admire those true knitters who get excited about ripping. I know its supposed to be the process and not the product but right now I might be willing to pay someone to knit for me! :)
ahhh, very nice...and waaarm (Boston accent still fresh in my mind!)
that pile of squiggly ripped yarn is scary!
I totally agree with Dava. I love the curly Ramen noodle like yarn! I'm having too much fun frogging!
