cardi wait
Four weeks and I'm still waiting on my yarn from the Netherlands to allow me to finish the cardi raye. I've had word that there was a delay so it should be here soon, but still I'm having a hard time waiting. In a fit of impatience, I sized up the tiny bit of green Plaisance yarn that I had left over from the back and decided to try starting the first front panel (it is a cardigan after all) to see if it might just be enough.

What do you know, it was enough! And now I find myself with absolutely no green yarn left and one front panel short of a sweater. Come on, postman, bring me my green yarn!

That cardie is going to look great when it's finished.
Looking good, Alison! I have the back, right front, and 1/2 of the left front completed. I love this cardigan -- I'm sure it's the colors because I'm usually bored with plain StSt.
Alison. I love the colors in the cardigan. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished. The colors are just so vibrant
Hi Alison, my yarn from Breiweb arrived yesterday. So maybe yours is coming soon? I got the standard colors, not the pretty blue/green you are using at the bottom. I LOVE the vibrancy of the whole thing. I am thinking I might use some of the Kiwi color to start the sleeves, as my arms are extra long, I'll let you know as I go along. Thanks for the inspiration.
Ach! The colors! I'm loving them!
And your Festival of Blue in your earlier post is postively aquatic. Beautimous.
Yum! Cardi Raye's looking gorgeous. Putting good thoughts toward the postman to get that green yarn to you quick!
Ooh, I like the color you used for the bottom. Smart move on nixing that scratchy Sunset yarn.
Hope the postman delivers soon.

Doesnt the postal service realise what agony they are putting you through? I'm so pleased you had enough to complete that front though, you are so close to being finished. Maybe if we all send positive postal thoughts your way it will arrive soon.
This is looking so good. Just fab. Are you weaving in your ends while you are waiting?
Ha, ha, ha, Michelle! Of course not.
Alison, Your cardi is looking so cute. I hope your yarn comes soon so we can all enjoy a picture of you wearing it. Thanks so much for congrats on the INS thing. It is so awful to tell people they can't even go visit their country. It has been a trying few years, but we are so exicted to finally be in the clear...
