I spent an evening and a half sewing on the collar for the cardi raye and weaving in all the remaining ends. Now she only needs the satin hook & eye band and she's all done.

Wow wow wow, looking forward to seeing it on you in all its glory. It looks beautiful so far!
Should we expect a modeled photo sometime this weekend?
It is so gorgeous! I can't wait to see it finished!
Fantastic! Are you sure you do not have a knitting machine? Your stitches are impecable!!!
Wow! That is beeeyoooteefull!! Now I want to knit one! :)
AHH so close. Its looking wonderful!
Looks really great! I can't imagine all the ends you had to weave in. Can't wait for the model shot.
WOW! Cardi looks awesome, it is absolutely gorgeous. You do wonderful work.
HOORAY!!! Can't wait to see it on you
It almost seems as though the finishing here has taken even longer than the knitting did! I'm sure it will be well worth it in the end though, I CANT WAIT to see you wearing it soon!
thats on my to-do list of things I want to make, but it scares me! Seems we have the same taste so I will watch yout blog for cool things to make!!
Thanks for the comments in my blog. I somehow missed all that in your postings, sorry!
AWSUME about the finishing book I just ordered it off amazon cause fluffa (Becky I think her name is) had it in her "learn" section of books she used to learn. It should come in a few days.
You so rock! I can't wait to cast on my bag but I want to get a wee bit farther on the socks. Last night I was attempting to make the socks and I first thought I had to just use the 3 needles and it was funny because I was like well first off why does it come with 5 needles? lol and I got all confused and attempted to knit with the 3 (which is difficult when all three are connected and have stiches on them). I was so HAPPY when I found a picture showing how to use the 4th needle. MUCH EASIER. I felt dumb, but oh well! hehe!
Stellar job! Can't wait to see it modeled live! Congratulations :-)
That is looking SOOOO good. Love all the color. Love the slippers you showed a couple of posts ago, too...makes me want to crochet.
No I can't wait! That's a stunning sweater, and will look wonderful on you.
Wow! Definitely worth the wait. And I don't generally even like stripes!
I'm not sure that I can stand it! It looks great & I can't wait to see it modeled either.
Nice...soon you'll be able to say "Cardi YAY!!!"
I know, *boo...hisss...* ;-)
I love that sweater! Could you tell me the name of the book/magazine it came from so I can try to get a copy?
That Cardi Raye Looks great! Glad it finally came together for you!
3 cheers for cardi raye! 4 cheers for you! :) It is wonderful and I bet it looks smashing on! :)
Thanks everyone! I can't wait to finish this sweater and try her on.
For anyone who didn't catch pattern/yarn info before, check out my comments to this post for all the links. :0)
I love your cardiraye!! I can hardly believe how quickly you get projects completed. I'm so jealous!
If you don't mind my asking, from where did you purchase the hook & eye tape? Eventually, I am going to have to figure out how to finish my own cardiraye.
Terrific knitting, as usual. Thank you so much for sharing!!
