picking

No, it's not another post about picking (continental knitting) vs. throwing (english style). In fact, I haven't done much knitting at all. The weather's been too good. Instead of staying at home or going to the playground, where I might do some knitting, we went apple picking at a local farm.

have bag, will pick

oh boy, pumpkin lollipops are in season!

My boys went apple picking yesterday too. Avery's school does an trip every September. This year was my husband's turn to go so he took Ian also. They had a blast. Ian was walking around the house all evening (and this morning) carrying his apple and saying "apple" to anyone in close range.

That's so much fun...and soon it'll be time to pick out pumpkins! I love that!!!

Though, there's something amusing to me about having an apple-picking bag with a dot com address on it...old meets new, eh? LOL...

I just went to Marino Farm (name seen on bag in picture) for the first time! What a great place. I'm really looking forward to getting back there to ride the train and go pickin'. I'm a bit fearful of hitting it on a weekend. i imagine that there are people everywhere. Glad you all had fun...
