picking No, it's not another post about picking (continental knitting) vs. throwing (english style). In fact, I haven't done much knitting at all. The weather's been too good. Instead of staying at home or going to the playground, where I might do some knitting, we went apple picking at a local farm.

My boys went apple picking yesterday too. Avery's school does an trip every September. This year was my husband's turn to go so he took Ian also. They had a blast. Ian was walking around the house all evening (and this morning) carrying his apple and saying "apple" to anyone in close range.
