little sweater, big sweater

I finished the back of pop! After I laid it out and took this picture, I realized that I had an old sweater somewhere with similar striping and these EXACT same colors. I searched through my closet and found a circa 1997 H&M sweater that indeed had two of the same colors. I bought it back when I was living in Germany and it was one of the first sweaters with brighter colors that I purchased after a long period of only browns, navys, grays and muted tones. After seven years, I still may like orange and pink, but look at how much the styles have changed!

I am feeling a powerful need coming on for orange and pink this fall. I'm just sure yet that they are coming together.
I noticed that myself yesterday, when taking a several years old blouse out of the closet and seeing how loosely it was supposed to fit.
I love the way your new sweater is turning out!
LOVE H&M!! I can't wait until they expand to the Mid-West....
Love the colors in your sweater. Über Kool.
It's like a before and after picture! My nineties duds used made me look like I was wearing tents on top of form-fitting jeans. At one time my favorite sweater was a banana republic knitted v-neck that was so blousy I'm sure it would fit my linebacker of a dad...
I still have a shirt from H&M circa 2000 that I love. It is almost dead but I cant give it up... It is always nice when the less expensive stuff holds up. Great buys there if you have the patience to dig :)
I cant wait to see the finished sweater. I am in awe of anyone who can read a french phildar pattern. (*said as she currently bangs head against wall searching for the stud*)
