foxy fini

Ooh la la! It's my stripey kid classic foxy beret. I love it, although the colors don't really go with any of my winter outerwear. But, hey, let's not think about that. Let's look at how cool it looks from the top.

Next up, another aura lace cap, this time in the calmer yarn called for in the original pattern. Yum....

Now, it could be the miracle of the internet, but it looks like that beautiful beret's colours suit you to a 'T". Very flattering.

So adorable! And the bright colors are just what you need to combat the "winter blahs". :)

Your beret looks great and the colours are so cheerful. I think it looks better than Rowan's version.

Very chic! Now you'll just have to buy a new coat.

All this kid classic going around is driving me crazy...I am going to have to get some! :)

alison...i did the aura calmer hat, in aura yar. i knit it in the round and my friend knit it flat...both were huge. i'll show you mine because i think you'll want to take out a couple of "pattern repeats" to make it smaller...i even tried to shrink it in the dryer

Oh Jackie, thank you for saying it for me! :)

Yes, Heather: you. must. buy. kid. classic.

Thanks Lisa, that's a great info and I'll be sure to mention it next time I post about the lace cap. Since I've already knit 3 aura caps, I didn't even bother trying to use the "right" number, especially since I've heard that the calmer stretches with wear. I cast on for this one with 84 stitches instead of 90 and it seems like it'll fit just right.
