IT POOLED! All on its own. I cast on according to pattern (note, this pattern is written for solid color yarns and not for the variegated yarns), did two rows, and damn if it didn't just line up. COOOOL!

Very cool. I hope it will stay consistent all the way up the muffler.
looks like you were destine to have a pooling scarf!
Very cool. I wonder what this means for those of us who bought the same yarn (on the same day) and were hoping that it didn't pool....probably time to readjust my expectations, yes?
Well, Stephanie, none of their sample garments had pooling like my scarf, so I'm sure I just found the "lucky" combination of gauge and stitch count. I used US5 needles and cast on 34 stitches. So for those wishing to pool this yarn or prevent this yarn from pooling, copy or avoid as necessary. ;0)
Wow, kismet! Very cool and a great colorway.
Hiya Alison, very cute kids, and very nice knitting...!!!

Will wonders never cease...
I guess the yarn gods giveth as well as taketh away!
Isn't it awesome when things just work out that way? I love the colourway you chose
You were meant to have a pooled scarf! Neato!
very cool! Its a stunning colourway too, I love the little bits of purple creeping in from the edge. I hope it continues to pool for you.
