tuesday is voting day

Go vote! So we can all get back to knitting. Cause Tuesday is still knitalong day.

Jackie got her Schaefer Anne pooling colors scarf to work! At least for a while. Apparently it stopped working and now is no more, but we must celebrate pooling whenever we find it. To that end, a big woo hoo to Anne as well, who hadn't originally signed up for the knitalong, but got some Blackberry Ridge variegated yarn to work in a pooling scarf. Way to go! And Peggy says she's almost done. I bet we'll be seeing pictures soon.

Weasley time... I've gotten a lot done on mine. Finished the front!

I am so loving how this sweater is coming out. Felted Tweed rules and the "H" is awesome, if I do say so myself. I can't help it, I've got to have a big picture. Speaking of big, these sweaters will definitely be oversized. The boys should get a lot of wear out of them!

Katie finished the intarsia on her sweater too. Tami's almost done with the back. Others? How's it going?

And I heard from Nathalie that she finished a maternity version of my Rosebud pattern. Go see how beautiful she looks in it!

Hi Alison,
I'm done with the front, the back and one sleeve. I'm knitting size 28 (Yarn warehouse) for my 6 year old son, and I have to make the front and the sleeves longer than stated in the pattern. My intarisa looks allmost as nice as yours. I realised too late how to avoid that the straight sides of the H "squize" together, but after blogging it looks allright.
Thank you for making this knitalong. I really enjoy seeing the progress of all the parcipitants.

I've just updated my blog with pictures of the pooling scarf!

I love the Harry Potter sweater. I just ordered a kit to make one as a Christmas present for my little brother, so please add me to the knit-along!

I am loving your choice of colors for your Weasley. The Intarsia H turned out awsome. Great Job.

Alison-

Have you heard from anyone who has enlarged the rosebud pattern in the bust for the more endowed ladies?

Hey Alison,

FYI I saw another Rosebud here: http://knitting.nobody.jp/sweater0403.html

The H looks great! I've also finished the front and back of my sweater. Now for the sleeves! There are pictures on my site.
I love the bear mitts, too.
I will be knitting a lot today to keep the nervous jitters about the election away!

I just finished the back of mine! I'm going to tackle the sleeves next I think (or at least one sleeve!) I also received my extra wool, so I'm certain to have enough. But I'm pleased with it as well - as is the munchkin.

The H really does look great!

The yarn is gorgeous!

The H sweater looks fabulous. I love the gray and the gold together.
